Katie Kissane is a registered dietitian/nutritionist, endurance athlete, and the owner of My Nutrition Coach, LLC. As an endurance athlete Katie has a unique understanding of the many challenges athletes and fitness enthusiasts encounter and this includes nutrition. Katie has competed in sports most her life, including participating at the collegiate level in cross country running and in the 5k and 10k in track and field. Katie has participated at the elite level as a marathon runner and competitive triathlete. Katie continues to train for long distance running and triathlon.

Katie has the experience and expertise to provide performance nutrition solutions for athletes of all ages and abilities. This includes the high school athlete looking to make it to the next level and participate in college sports or the age group athlete wanting to improve fitness. Katie can help anyone who wants to perform and feel their best.

Katie received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado in 2006 and her master’s degree in human nutrition from Colorado State University in 2011. Katie is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and she has completed the certificate program in adult weight management.

Katie has experience working with a variety of athletes. She has worked with athletes at both the University of Colorado and Colorado State University as a consult sports dietitian. At both schools she provided nutrition education to all division I student athletes and sports teams. During graduate school she worked with the Colorado State Triathlon team providing nutrition lectures and working individually with athletes on the team. She has experience proving nutrition seminars to high school sports teams. She enjoys working with a variety of athletes of all ages and abilities.

As a sports dietitian Katie enjoys providing athletes with individualized nutrition plans. She does not believe in cookie cutter nutrition and there is no one size fits all when it comes to sports nutrition. Nutrition needs may differ depending on the time of year and training cycle. It is her job as a sports dietitian to help athletes reach their potential and develop a nutrition plan that maximizes their training and recovery.

Katie is currently working as a sports dietitian in Northern Colorado. This includes Fort Collins, Boulder, Greeley, Loveland, Longmont, and Windsor. Katie is available for nutrition counseling through video chat and phone.
